Apex beauty Academy has a wonderful atmosphere. Due to my dull skin, I was recommended a Hydro facial. Man, my face felt great very clean and hydrated! Everyone was very helpful , grade A products. I’m looking forward to my 2nd facial in 4 weeks.

It is very nice & clean. The school has very professional staff. I was welcomed at the door and love the atmosphere. I thought Miss Lindsay was great! This is a place I would highly recommended for services and a learning atmosphere. Thank you!

The place is spotless and beautifully maintained. Everyone I encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and cared for. It’s a wonderful place for both learning and receiving services…highly recommended!

Beware! Buckle up ppl, it’s going to be long. I was a student at this place and will not recommend. Kit is worthless stuff from Amazon that can’t be used in people even though is almost 1k of tuition. We used it and it burned this girls brows and lashes!!! To start off, save your time, energy and MONEY and head somewhere else. You will be lucky if they even get through the curriculum. You’ll probably finish your hrs but still have to go because half your curriculum is still missing. And you will probably not go through everything regardless. You have to pay half the entire course before you even begin. By that time, there isn’t much that can be done, no refunds so many have to forcefully stay or loose their money. You will have other students at different levels. Ex. it can be your first day and you will be placed with others who have 2-3 months and you will need to learn whatever they are going over. Even if you don’t even know the basics. They will not “go back to you” until those students leave. You will be informed/told that the order does not matter, but it really does! It took almost 5 months before she “went back to me” and finish the basics I needed to know to even start doing client services. I only had 1 month left of school and people don’t book every day. So yeah, I got “plenty of practice.” You will often be left alone w/o guidance when doing anything as the owner (who is also the teacher) often leaves to go eat or do something else and you will be left unsupervised & confused. She will be trying to teach the nails and the esthetic program at the same time! You’re not going to learn everything about the machines, products, different brands nor how it works, nor any of that. You cannot ask about ingredients or products because that’s “advanced.” I had to pay extra (EXTRA!) out of pocket to go somewhere else to learn what should’ve been taught at this school to begin with, or at least go over, but weren’t. When practicing for state board exam, she didn’t even know what the four basic facial massages were and that was part of the exam!! so hence, we were never taught of them only 1 so we never knew those had to be incorporated into every facial. We just learned them to do it at the exam but no in real people 🫣 (again, why I had to go somewhere else after!) There’s a huge issue with language. You cannot even ask questions as she will either not understand or does not know the answer to a lot. Her favorite response is “that’s advance classes and you need to pay extra.” She has enrolled people with the pretense of saying she offers classes in different languages like Spanish and states there were Spanish teacher, when in fact, there never were any. People enrolled only Speaking Spanish and were left utterly frustrated bc they were inform that they had to use a translator which is worthless. Just for the fact that her English pronunciation is not good and the translator wasn’t able to translate accordingly. Often translating into obscene sentences. Another favorite phrase is “I never said that” so yeah, good luck. Also, don’t believe all 5star reviews fyi. I wasn’t the only one with a bad experience, I was probably the one that had the least worst of it. Edit: in response to the owners review *** I would like to clarify that what I am sharing is not rumor, but my personal experience. At no point was my conduct ever an issue, as I was never formally notified of misconduct or even talked about reaching that point. Any misunderstandings were the result of a language barrier, which we previously discussed in your office. Throughout the program, both individually and in group meetings, I raised concerns regarding issues within the school. These were also documented during the exit survey at the completion of the 600 hours, where you confirmed that all responses were recorded. Additionally, I noted that passing exams often required external assistance This account reflects my direct experience, and I hope it provides clarity and helps others in the future.
