I have no complaints about the technician- he was professional and did his job well. My concerns are with the company’s pricing practices. They attempted to charge $1000 for a service that should typically cost between $400–$700 (realized this after the fact) . We got to $800 but having to go through that process of knowing I was being taken advantage of was annoying. Additionally, the advertised $74 discount for plumbing or electrical services is not applied automatically- you have to specifically ask for it. Again, taking advantage of the customer. While the tech performed well, it seems the company trains their staff to see if customers will pay inflated prices, which feels underhanded. Because of this, I likely won’t be using their services.

We had a regular check up on our furnace. Kris and JJ were technicians. JJ advised Kris was in his 5th or 6th week of training (my bad, I couldn't remember what week) but they were both awesome; very professional, friendly, great sense of humor, and took their time explaining everything about their process. While servicing the furnace, they pointed out the motor had a small grinding sound, could not guarantee if we would or would not have any issues in the future, especially with winter just around the corner. They explained what the cost of a new motor would cost and verified financing was available and what the terms were if that was the option we chose. JJ said when Kris has completed his training, he will be certified just as JJ is in heating and cooling service. We would like to have both back for our annual service checks for AC and furnace, whomever is a available. (Both at the same time, but that probably won't be an option! That's how much we enjoyed them!!)

When I was looking for a company, I noticed that Anthony provides 24/7 service and has the highest reviews. I called on Sunday to set up an appointment for a free assessment and quote for service, which was scheduled for Monday afternoon. I was given a three hour window and Erik called ahead with his ETA, arrived promptly, assessed my 30+ year old system and confirmed the need for replacement. He was able to provide me with a few different reasonable options for exactly what I needed. He knew the availability options for installation, which worked with my schedule and the earliest was next day. My entire experience with the company was 48 hours and I now have a fully functioning system and peace of mind going into the cold season. Erik also helped me set up financing in the most efficient way. He is an excellent sale’s rep and very professional pleasant person. Oh and Erik was wearing nice shoes, which he respectfully offered to cover with booties while in my home. 10/10 recommend.

Been Anthony's customer for many years, I called to inquire about the cost of maintenance on a Kohler generator ,spoke with an individual named Don he never gave me a price he informed me that they will send a technician to give a proposal free of charge. The technician showed up and I showed him where the generator was and I went inside half an hour later I went out to check and see what is going on. The technician had the cover off and draining the oil out and he was unable to get the oil filter off it got mangled for him trying to get it off and he asked me if I have an oil filter wrench to get the filter off and he was still not able to get it off. At that time it was the point of no return so I got the filter off for him. He went to O'Reilley auto parts to get the oil filter 2 quarts of 10W-30W oil where it should be 5W-30W oil all was changed on it the spark plug an oil filter, 2 quarts of oil, battery and a sparkplug then i was presented with $698.00 which he knocked down to $618.00 and he informed I can get the air filter for O'Reilley. All I wanted from Don was an estimate not doing the work and get stuck with a huge bill. the technician was a nice person and the only reason I paid the bill. Trying to get an estimate not a huge bill for 2 quarts of oil, a spark plug, battery and an oil filter and I have to replace the air filter. All i wanted was an estimate and not get stuck with $618.00 and I will be more than happy to provide you with the invoice. They need to be upfront about the price before not after the work is done.

I strongly recommend NOT using their services. I called requesting service for a small leak coming out of a three valve shower faucet. I am quite handy myself but my home was just put under contract and with a home inspection in just a few day I was strapped for time. The technicians themselves were very nice individuals but at the end of the day their knowledge was very lackluster. I was quoted $200+ for a diagnostic. If the valve was the issue, I was quoted $600+ for a "rebuild" of the valve. If it was an internal issue, I was quoted $2200 for opening up the wall and changing out the three valve system. The valve was basically unscrewed and I was shown that the edges were slightly warped. They did not have the part and left to go get it. When they came back they said, not only did they not have it, but that the valve was no longer made and so it could not be replaced. I was told they would try to "rebuild" it, reinstall the worn out valve with a new washer and hopefully it would hold the leak at bay. The leak was fixed at that moment BUT the diverter was no longer able to close properly and force the water up to the shower head. With the hot and cold valves on, over half of the water was now coming out of the bottom spout and the flow from the showerhead was beyond minimal. So the technicians made THAT problem WORSE. I was told they cleaned the calcium build up present on the valves and that affected the diverter valve problem, and there was nothing else they could do about that. I was charged $757. Later that evening I decided to tackle the diverter valve isssue myself. I went to home depot and bought a $7.00 diverter repair kit. Went home and disassemble ALL the valves. The valve that was "rebuilt" still had calcium build up all over it. So basically I was charged $757 for having them unscrew the cold waster valve, put a new washer on the tip and screw it back on. That was the "rebuild!" I pulled the diverter valve apart, found that it had a missing washer and a shredded washer in the inner workings of it. Replaced washers myself, cleaned valve, and PRESTO, fixed! No more water coming out of the main tub spout when in the shower head position. I cannot believe that the technicians were not able to help with the diverter problem and instead were swaying me toward a complete replacement of everything behind the wall. So, 40 min in home service, a new small rubber washer and I was out $757 AND they made the secondary main water spout flow WORSE. I have contacted them (could only leave a message) for a refund of some sort and will update this review whenever they decide to call ME back.
