  We had a nice light meal this evening, ordered online to take out. I had the chicken arugula salad and my husband had the southern charm chicken caesar salad. They were both excellent as usual!

  Annie O’s Kitchen doesn’t look like much from the outside right now, especially with construction going on in the adjacent storefront, but looks can be deceiving. This place has fabulous Southern food. The baby back ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the collards are excellent, as are the beans. I was too full to eat my biscuit, but I’m looking forward to having it for breakfast tomorrow. Seriously, it is well worth a visit!

  EXCELLENT! Andrea was EXCELLENT. Food was the absolute best we have had Andrea Baked Beans were ad good as My mums! The Shrimp and Grits was fabulous! The Chicken and dumplings was actually like my mother in law made! Absolutely fantastic! Great job Andrea!

  Order at the counter. Food was ok. Beans were exceptional, but small servings. Collar greens were disappointing. Overpriced for what you get. The only reason. They got 3 stars is the beans. No bread or anything with the lunch special. Meat and 1 vegetable.

  We come to HHI every year and had never been to this spot. We almost turned around when we saw the building and the fact that we were the only people seated for Friday lunch. That said, the owner was friendly and our food was good. Standout was the fried shrimp plate and tater tots. Both very good.
