Second bad meal here. Terrible service. Stood for 5 minutes before even being noticed. Then I sat for 10 minutes before even being asked if I wanted a water. The waiter I had was a young man and has no place in the food service industry. I watched him forget me and multiple other tables. He didn’t listen to a word I said and overall was extremely awkward. Also what’s the deal with people not understanding that coffeemate and international delight makes your business look like a broke McDonald’s. Give your customer real milk or cream with their coffee. It doesn’t cost much and makes you look more Craft. This place needs significant management help. Just another mediocre restaurant in the Lansing area.

Sadly I had a very poor service experience this morning. Loved this place and their food. Walked in. Was greeted and led to a seat right away and then 30 minutes later after watching table after table after me get served I walked out without even being acknowledged. No water. No coffee. No how are you bla bla. My server stood be the cash register txting.
I’ll never go back. To many nice places to eat.
Train your staff better please. You have great food and a fun environment.

We had decent service at Anna’s House—our order was taken quickly, but the food took quite a while to come out. When it finally did, I was honestly shocked. My “waffle” looked like something fit for a toddler—tiny, underwhelming, and definitely not worth the price. My boyfriend’s eggs Benedict were decent, but nothing special.
What really pushed it over the edge was the bill—almost $50 for two meals that were just okay. To make it worse, I paid $1.25 for three blueberries on top of my waffle. Yes, three. For that price, I expected a lot more food and a better overall experience.
It wasn’t terrible, but it absolutely wasn’t worth the price. There are plenty of other breakfast spots that give you better portions, better value, and faster service.

Ana’s House in Okemos is a complete scam. The waffle I ordered was literally the size of a kids meal, and they charged an extra $1.25 just to toss a few blueberries on top. On top of that, they wanted 50 cents for TWO tomato slices. Absolutely ridiculous.
The service was just as bad – our server barely checked on our table the entire time, and we felt ignored. The Eggs Benedict was beyond disappointing, super mid and definitely not worth the price.
Save your money and go anywhere else. This place is overpriced, low quality, and doesn’t care about their customers.
