Me and my son, that has no arms or legs with autism went here for his birthday because he said he wanted Chinese food. We get there and I hear people screaming in the back in Chinese. We are ordering and he give me an attitude. We get our food and I FIND A LIVE WORM MY SONS FOOD. I start arguing with the worker and he grabs my son AND SPINS THEN THROWS HIM. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN

Ordered the shrimp pho & shrimp summer rolls and they were both quite delicious! Food took less than 10 minutes to come out. Only minus was that it was pricier than I thought it would be for a bowl of pho, but recommend trying it! Cute restaurant

I love coming here after r the gym. I’m a local, my family and I have been coming here since before it was Anise, and with the new ownership that bought the place a few years back, the place is better than ever. The main guy who serves is really nice. The food is always quick and delicious. After asking, I learned it’s a family business including the chef. Honestly I wish I knew how to cook like this. Highly recommend this place.

We were charged more than 20% tip which was different from what the waiter said. First of all, there is no notice about an automatic 20% tip for parties of 4 or more on the menu, also the waiter had not mentioned about it until we asked for the check and questioned about the tip included on the bill. He said a 20% tip was automatically applied to the bill for a party of 4 people; however, we realized that the charged tip and the tip guide of 20% didn’t match together. We asked the waiter how much 20% tip is, and he said and pointed at the 20% tip guide at the bottom of the check. When we talked about the difference of the tip amount on the check, then he said the calculation of tip was wrong, but he refused to correct/remove the tip and let us leave tip ourselves. Tips are to be calculated based on the total cost before tax, and should be based on your personal preference and the level or quality of service you received. We did some calculations and we found out that the extra in tip (beside 20%) on the check is tipping tax. However, the sale tax doesn’t go to the business, it goes to the state. If you go look at business, the automatic tip is often added to the bill for parties of 6 or more in the restaurant industry, and the tip percentage will be based on pre-tax. This isn’t about being cheap or generous. This is about the business being HONEST and not deceiving. Moreover, the waiter isn’t friendly, he didn’t even say hi or goodbye when we came in or left the restaurant. Although their food is good and it’s close to my workplace, it’s my first time and last time to go to this restaurant, also I definitely don’t recommend it to all my coworkers and my acquaintances. I don't know if they have done the same calculation on the bills like this before or if they did it to us on purpose. What if we didn’t realize the tip included on the bill, it would be over-tipping.

I order a chicken bhun mi and beef summer rolls. The beef was chewy, and the roll was bitter and unpleasant. The peanut sauce was super runny. The sandwich was lack luster aswell. It just pounded out chicken breast and Pickled veggies and a boat load of jalapeños . There’s was next to next to no seasoning/ sauce. The employee was mad chill and food came out relatively quickly.
