Horrendous agency.
I had to open a water damage claim on my home back in March and have been displaced ever since. Throughout the entire claim process, I never once heard from Andy or anyone in his office.
Then in July, State Farm dropped my coverage because of the claim. Andy’s office never called, texted, or emailed me about this. Instead, they mailed the cancellation notice to my vacant address, which, of course, I didn’t receive in time. My coverage lapsed as a result.
I've been with State Farm for over a year and I never received a single call from Andy or his staff until after my coverage was terminated. Andy called me ONCE, asking if I was “okay"...Very obviously, I was not. Because of their negligence, I’ve been forced to settle for subpar coverage on both my home and auto.
To make matters worse, I recently received notice from another State Farm agent (Rhea Barbee @ Vic Jimenez, HIGHLY recommend her) that my auto insurance was about to cancel...I was stunned. Wasn’t my auto policy dropped back in July? Apparently not. Yet again, Andy’s office failed to provide even the most basic communication or clarification.
I’ve been a loyal State Farm policyholder for years and was repeatedly told Andy Ottney was “the best.” I’ve seen no evidence to support that claim. On the contrary, his agency has caused real, lasting damage to my personal life. Now I’m stuck with inadequate coverage and living with the consequences of his office’s indifference.
I would not recommend Andy Ottney or his agency to anyone. Their failure to communicate, act responsibly, or show the slightest concern for their clients is beyond unacceptable. The damage is done, and his office remains just as absent today as it was when I first opened my policy.

I appreciate these guys. I've been with State farm for my adult life and I'm not young. I needed a policy on a 2nd home and got what I needed in a couple hours on a Friday afternoon! Good agent, good staff!
