Thank God I came here during the lunch special. I would’ve been very highly upset if I paid full price for this plate of food I ordered jerk, chicken, rice, and peas collard greens as a lunch special the portion is just fine. It’s the flavor that’s lacking the rice has no salt. The jerk chicken is supposed to at least be spicy. This chicken is not even a little bit spicy. what kind of Jamaicans don’t know how to make jerk chicken it’s already not barbecued. It’s oven baked and that’s fine. The jerk has to be jerking and this is totally the opposite.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this was the most flavorless food I’ve had and the Mac and cheese 🤢 on top of that they gave me 2 pieces of chicken… the greens was even bad rice all that horrible 😩 Update: The nerve of the respond is diabolical for that nasty food! And I barely leave reviews. My last review was a while ago! DO NOT EAT HERE… Absolutely disgusting and the attitude… unacceptable. Do better.

Andrea’s is THE go-to Jamaican spot on the Southside. Their jerk wings are the best in the city, their curry shrimp and spicy beef patties are fantastic, they bake their coco bread fresh and, most importantly, their Health Dept grade is an A!! Love it and Ms. Andrea!👏🏾

My family eats here often. In fact, I’m eating my dinner as I post this review. I ended up ordering more when I went inside, but I typically use the app which is convenient and efficient. The jerk Rasta pasta, curry tofu with chickpeas, veggie patties, my loved ones’ oxtails, and salmon-they truly have everything! :) I appreciate them on nights when I’m too tired to make those delicious collards! :) They also have desserts and authentic Jamaican drinks. I’m happy to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. Having lived here for over 48 years, this is a welcome addition. The food is tasty and I love to hear the natives speak. Everyone is nice and as in Jamaica, the atmosphere is relaxed. I took some brochures to place at our business as well. May we all continue supporting both small and Black-owned businesses!
