ANC was started by Mr. Jim Clubb in 1963, who was a previously employed by Power Engineering of Scranton. In 1988, the present owner, Mr. Lloyd Knecht III, purchased the company, he was previously employed by Carrier Corporation of Syracuse, New York, as a Sales Engineer for 10 years.
In 1998, ANC moved its headquarters to its present 30,000 sq. foot location at 122 Jennings Street, in Endicott, NY. This new building has allowed our company to grow and has provided the public with a nationally acclaimed 5,000 sq ft showroom.
We have worked long and hard to develop our reputation as a high-quality, professional contracting Company serving the Ithaca area with a commitment to professionalism and excellence in the delivery of our services.

The hourly rate was excessive! Even though the hot water heater was under warranty, we still spent over $1,500 each time. I am concerned about the quality of the equipment that you are installing. I don't have assurance that the warranty will give me any relief in expense.

They were professional, courteous, and very respectful in our home. They explained everything clearly, made the process stress-free, and were even thoughtful and patient with our curious dogs sniffing in on what they were doing. The whole experience was seamless, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend ANC, Ryan, Cameron, and the entire team!
- JTJANE THORICKSep 25, 20255.0While working on the furnace, Braden noticed that the pump connected to the humidifier ( also connected to the cellar dehumidifier) was running longer than normal. He took extra time to clean it and all the connected pipes so that it now runs much more efficiently. The "surprise" expense was for a new UV light bulb - $300+! But a look inside the heating ducts proved that it's working!
