  Had dinner here last night and the food was amazing! The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and the naan was soft and fresh. The service was friendly, and everything came out hot. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried — can’t wait to come back!

  Great experience overall. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were attentive, and everything felt well put together. Service was smooth from start to finish, and I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxed, enjoyable meal.

  When we arrived we informed the manager that 3 of the 4 people with us had Celiac. Within 3 minutes a waitress brought out a starter of Poori with a chutney. We asked if it was gluten free and she said yes chickpea flour it’s ok. After eating them we looked in the menu and they were made with wheat flour. The waitress apologized and I asked the manager to come over and no one seemed to really understand what gluten-free or celiac really was. Stay away and stay safe as the people running this place have no idea what they are doing when it comes to gluten free. Even after I explained Celiac they still look dumbfounded.

  Lovely new Indian restaurant in downtown Raleigh with a solid repertoire of classic dishes from several regions plus some unusual but delicious additions. Service was wonderful: unobtrusive but attentive. One pleasant surprise was the cocktail menu, full of interesting yet accessible South Asian twists on bartender staples. This restaurant provides an excellent introduction to those unfamiliar with Indian food and an authentic experience. Would recommend for a date night or a larger party.

  I absolutely loved my experience at Amrut. Taste of India! The food was incredibly delicious authentic flavors, perfect spice levels, and fresh ingredients in every dish. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was warm, clean, and beautifully decorated ,perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving real Indian food with great taste and amazing hospitality. Definitely coming back again!
