  Had my cottage sprayed in May. Now in July I am seeing carpenter ants. When I called to tell Amhurst about it they said it was because of rain. For 15 years we have had our cottage sprayed. Never have we had trouble for the whole summer or fall. The man who did this passed away so we went with a neighbors recommendation. Very poor service with our problem. Why should we pay another &135.00 for something that wasn’t done right the first time?

  Thanks for the review zack abdulla. That is very bad customer service. And for the company to go on and respond so rudely goes to show what kind of company this is. We are looking for an exterminator and was going to call this company until I seen how rude the response was from this company. Terrible customer service. To sit there and bluntly say “that’s the customers fault” is def not a company I want To deal with. I have spoke to a few people who have used this company in the past and the property owners have told me that the employees are rude and very unprofessional. If I could rate 0 I would.

  I have been dealing with Bed bugs for almost 2 years it has cost me over $5,000 to replace furniture, replace bedding, bed covers, tear every room in the house. I decided to call Buffalo exterminator and they wanted $3,000 to do our whole apartment complex since they told us that once you spray one room they will scatter to other apartments, they seemed every knowledgeable, not only that but all clothes in EVERY bedroom and all linen in the whole house has to be washed at a laundry mat on highest water and highest dryer setting possible (cost me $150). I had to do this every time they came (every two weeks for 2 months) I had a friend treat our house for $500 who use to work for them and had extra chemicals. I decided to do my research on them, since it has been a nightmare for 2 year and I have many children that live in our house. I decided to look up reviews on google and when I seen Amherst Exterminators I decided to give them a call. They came over and checked every apartments, they only found bugs in my boys room and we were told we only had to treat the living room (its always treated because of the back and forth from the bedroom to the livingroom). Come to find out you do not have to treat the whole apartment complex because you have bed bugs, you only have to treat the room that has them. I was so scared and nervous about this because I was told by others that all apartments have to be done in order for them not to spread. Then i started doing research online and realized they are right. Amherst Exterminators gives you a prepare for treatment guide on what you have to do before they come, they do a treatment that lasts 4 months on your stuff and leaves a residue so the bugs can no longer produce or lay eggs, they come back in 30 days to recheck everything, and the best part you only have to do the linen on that room that is getting treated. to top if off it only ended up costing under $400. Which is way better than our first quote of $3,000 from buffalo exterminator. I HIGHLY recommend this company. They have been in business since 1994, they have great reviews and the people there are outstanding, and are very knowledgeable.
