The casino was ok nothing good or bad to say.
My concern was the vending room on the floor where my room was it had blackout paper on it and the door was unlocked the vending machines were gone but it was a safety concern for me because someone could do be assaulted in there and no one would know. the door should have been locked. My room was on the 8th floor that vending area should be locked especially since it has the blackout paper up there so you can't see in there. That door should be locked . My biggest complaint
You win some you lose some! I won as soon as I got there and left I played Russian roulette bet all I had in red won and walked right back out! The people like really sir LLS
The hotel was ok with it been so big with lots of entertainment you would think they would have free breakfast,, also the service desk crew at night is kinda rude. Overall our time in chicago was good just wish the hotel had more friendly service at night,, THE DAY CREW IS AWESOME AND THE OLDER LADY I FORGOT HER NAME IM SORRY BUT SHE IS THE BOOM!!!! (she wasn't American) (sorry but I don't remember how to spell her name)🫶
I've been coming here since before they last remodeled... years ago. It's definitely time for updates and upgrades! When I say I'm about done with Ameristar, I mean it! They charge you amenity fees. However, they don't even provide the essentials! For some reason, the coffee table was missing in our room and we were told, basically to deal with it. When you're staying for a couple of days, usually you bring a lot of stuff and not having that table was definitely a huge inconvenience! Anything missing in your room and you're told you have to go get it from the front desk yourself. Even if it should've already been there. Ice machines are on alternate floors. But it's a toss up as to whether or not they're working. The beds are so old, they have deep depressions, in most of them, from many previous guests. If you have a working phone in your room, you're lucky.
I've noticed the decline in people at this establishment, for a while. Now I can see why. Yes, as a business, you want people to spend more time gambling than in their rooms. However, if they're not comfortable when Ithey do go to the room, they're less likely to stay and gamble for 3 days. And their rewards program isn't making the grade anymore either. This weekend will definitely be my last. Time to give my money to the ones who reinvest in their property!

Normally staying in this location is fine but a week ago I came into my room and I brought food with me to eat me and my husband well while we were eating you know they leave two waters inside the refrigerator for you in every room well I went to get the waters and my husband noticed some spit bubbles at the top of the water bottle and it had been opened so that means one of the workers had to have spit inside of the water bottle and put it back Inside of the refrigerator that’s is just nasty luckily he noticed before drinking but the fact that I came here today and no one has contacted me regarding the situation is insane that means no one even looked into it like the front desk clerk had stated that is unacceptable and a hazard who knows what this person has and why there spitting inside of peoples waters now who knows how many times they did it that is definitely a law suit and should be looked into pictures attached you can clearly see the spit bubbles and no it is not from it being shook I shook the other water bottle and nothing happened it stayed clear this is crazy
