  I took my shihtzu to be groomed one week ago. When I got him home, that evening he started crying in pain and clawing his private parts. All weekend the same. We took him to the vet today and she said he has razor burns all over; his penis has a scab over it where it stopped bleeding. His privates were swollen, raw and discolored. One week and he is starting to scab and heel. It cost me $96 to find out that some untrained student hurt him. Who let a beginner groom my little boy?Who was supervising? I will not take him back. I want my little dog to be humanely treated and he was not. Just be careful .

  Definitely won't be coming back. I took my dog at 10:00 am and finally got him back at 2:50. I know they said they would call when he was done but almost 5 hours is insane. I called twice with no answer so I drove to check in. The guy there had a bad attitude. I told him I was concerned how he wasn't done in over 4 hours and he told me that there were many more people on his list. (Then don't let so many people choose the slot!) He is a puppy, the sign said 2 hour puppy grooming. When I got there to check, they had barely even started on him. Had to wait another almost hour outside the store. The man would barely look at me when I still thanked him afterward, and tipped, horrible attitude! My dog is now limping, has red irritated toenails, and has a completely shaved stomach which was not needed. Go somewhere else! Edit: The place doesn't look friendly and none of the people in the back sound nice either! When I walked in I heard them telling a dog to shut up!
