Made the call, Lenny was super helpful with sizing requirements. Made the purchase and received the converter sooner than expected. Installed it that weekend and now my new to me paint booth is up and running. Couldn't be happier with it!

- JGJeff GriffinSep 25, 20255.0The good news is- the 3-phase converter works and it was reasonably priced. I would buy it again. The less good news is the flimsiness of the housing. I have mine mounted on top of the motor and you would expect it to be a lot stiffer and stronger than it is. Also, the assembly instructions have hiccups and I came up short of four nuts.

My 15 year old 15hp (not an American Rotary) failed and put me down for several days so you’ll be seeing another order from me for another ADX 20 for redundancy. I own an industrial laundry renting restaurant linens and can’t afford to be down, not even for several hours let alone several days. My washers are all 10hp VFD motors and I’m upgrading a couple to 15hp VFDs and the soft start only draws 2-3 amps. It’s a beautiful thing watching the amp meter as these giant machines start and stop their motors every 30 seconds and my ADX 20 handles the load effortlessly.
