  Our son is in 4th grade and has been attending American Heritage Academy for his 3rd year. They have an excellent communication system. Every year we have had his teacher's email AND cell phone number. We receive paper copies and emails each week with the school news letter and updates so we always know what's going on. We rarely miss a book fair, sporting event, play, or anything else. The school has about the same activities as any other school. My son isn't big into sports but he has done track, cross country, or soccer every year. They also offer a lot of misc activities. For example, my son recently joined the Chess Club and has starting taking Tap Dance classes at the school. The reason we initially chose the school was because of their emphasis on the Founding Fathers, on building character, and on Christian values. The thing we have learned to love about this school, is that the teachers really care about the students while also maintaining strict standards. I've seen his teacher cry on the last day of school when they hugged goodbye to my son and the other children in the class. I'd highly recommend this school if you'd like your child to have a quality education in a loving, structured environment.

  I have been at this school since the very beginning of my education. I've had the opportunity to both learn and grow as a person and strive for a higher education. I have come to love to learn and to have a passion for my education and to always strive for the best. Above all, I am indebted to American Heritage Academy and the opportunities it has given me to come to understand myself and who I am through the examples of caring teachers, countless ways to serve, endless opportunities for friendship, and an established honor code that promotes respect for one's self and others.
