  In August 2024, we purchased two couches from American, manufactured by Asley. By way of background, we have been customers for 30+ years and in general, have been satisfied. It's where we purchased furniture. We have spent many thousands of dollars as customers of American. Now, one of these couches we use daily while the other is mainly for company. A few months ago, I noticed one of them appeared to be sagging on the ends. I called them. Since it was slightly more than a year and I learned that their warranty was passed and the manufacturer, Ashley, has no applicable guaranty either. They quoted around $500 to fix this piece of junk. I asked about a discount if we elected to junk it and buy another. They have no intention of helping us at all. They aren't even embarrassed or apologetic! It’s very disappointing to find out after so many years of being loyal customers, they have no interest in helping us. I even had to pay $49 to have the guy look at it for 10 minutes. Clearly, the quality of their products is not good. Cheap stuff is sold at high prices to anyone who is not a furniture expert. We are done and I encourage you to find a company with better products, customer appreciation, and integrity. Greed is not pretty

  We went in to buy mattress and ended up purchasing a great one. We also figured we would take a look at possibly buying a new living room sectional couch and we fell in love with one that we ended up purchasing as well! Upon entering the store we were met with the nice door greeters and then happened to run into Bruce who has got to be the BEST sales guy we've ever interacted with at a furniture store! Not pushy, not trying to upsell anything we don't want or need, he's just came off as incredibly helpful and very informative as to product knowledge and what would work for us. We will definitely be back to that store to work with him if and when we need more furniture! The offerings and products are fantastic. After having terrible experiences with purchasing products on Amazon, etc, AFW has since been the gold standard in quality to price when it comes to all things furniture. It's also comforting to know that the money is going to a great operation headed by Jake who is a stand up guy as evidenced by his community philanthropy. Lastly, the checkout and delivery process was as smooth as possible with good communication about pickup for the mattress as well as the delivery of the couch to our home. A special shout out to Bryce and Chris in delivery who were on time, courteous, efficient and very mindful to not damage our home. Two more great employees at this establishment! In summary we just couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience at American Furniture Warehouse. Highly recommended!!

  I can’t say enough good things about John at this location. We’ve ordered through him twice and this last time was a bit of a circus. We moved up north so after doing our purchase with John at this location, we went to the Firestone location after we moved to pay the rest of our order and pick up some items. The Firestone location made a complete mess of our order and also did not operate in a professional way. John was on top of it immediately getting everything fixed and rectified, even though it was someone else’s error, and reached out multiple times on a Saturday to check in and keep us updated. He immediately fixed the mess of our order and took time to make sure we were happy with the outcome. It’s rare to find people in customer service these days that operate with that much care for their customers. This was a very very tough situation, and he handled it wonderfully. I don’t care that we live over an hour away, I will only go to John for my purchases moving forward. Go in and ask for him! You’ll thank me later.

  I have shopped at American Furniture for about 30 years and never been disappointed. Madelyn at the Englewood showroom directed me to the bedroom chest I was interested in and she made such a great impression I got her name since I had to leave. I contacted her later to place an order for me for the chest and a sofa I had decided on which arrived as promised. Unfortunately my sofa choice did not fit well with my decor and space. The Whistler media chest is beautiful and excellent quality. Madelyn helped me with my return which went very smoothly and helped me with making my replacement choice. She has been so helpful and pleasant to work with!!! Thank you Madelyn and American Furniture!

  I cannot speak highly enough about Erin! I called to ask about the soonest delivery time for a recliner I was buying my husband. I wasn’t sure if coming down to the store that night as opposed to the next morning would affect the delivery time. I mentioned that I had just brought my husband home from the hospital and was so exhausted but wanted to ensure the soonest time for him to get his recliner so he could be comfortable. Erin personally found the recliner I was wanting to order, and placed the order for me over phone so I didn’t have to go to the store but still got the earliest delivery time available. She was so sweet, kind and professional. She went above and beyond to help me, truly what an angel. The delivery men arrived right on time and put the recliner exactly where we wanted it. 10/10 customer service, we are so grateful!
