  Let the buyer beware I had an extremely disappointing experience with American Carpet, primarily due to the salesperson who handled my order. I selected a specific type of wood plank from their showroom floor and was told by Roy that they had it in stock. He required a 50% down payment to hold the product, which I paid promptly. Later, when I followed up to schedule a pickup, the sales person informed me that the planks I had chosen were not actually available — admitting it was his mistake. Despite already having my money, he failed to take full responsibility. I asked for a discount due to the mix-up, and he said he would speak with his manager. When I finally received the planks, they were similar but clearly not the same as what I had selected in the showroom. He insisted they were the same product and claimed the difference was the "discount" he arranged. At that point, I just wanted to complete the process and move on. This was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. The handling of the situation was careless and misleading, and I would strongly recommend management reevaluate how such issues are dealt with in the future — starting with holding employees accountable. I won’t be returning and would caution others to double-check everything in writing before putting down any money.

  Thank you American Floor & Home for our new flooring in our condo . The experience we had was awesome . My wife and I were really unsure which vinyl plank we wanted to get, but thanks to Roy for helping us pick out the perfect flooring . Also, want to say thanks to the guys that worked hard to take out the carpet and install the vinyl floor . Mahalo to Arnel, Marc, Chris, Skylar, Ed, and Peter that got the job done in just a week. I also want to thank them for taking care of my belongings and furniture with the plastic cover , especially the bunk bed & my things above the closet . They made the impossible , possible with the flooring at the door entrance . Mahalo

  Evan helped us to pick out materials in the showroom and we took home samples to help us select the flooring for the bedrooms in our home. He was so patient as we took a long time to decide and changed our minds until settling on what we had installed last month. Michael was wonderful in getting everything scheduled and keeping us up to date, as we had laminate installed in two rooms and carpet in the master. We've been enjoying our new floors for three weeks and love them. Couldn't have turned out better. Mahalo!

  As a property manager for the last 40 years, I have worked with many flooring venders. Yesterday Alan and Josh replaced carpet in one of my rental properties and I was very impressed not only by their professionalism but their pleasant demeanor. You can tell they love their job and the company they work for. They did a stellar job on the install. I look forward to working with American Floor and Home in the near future on all my flooring jobs.

  American Floor & Home did a great job de-installing our old floor and installing Engineered Hardwood on our complete first floor. Aris, the foreman, made sure everything went well and was installed professionally, from each plank to the 1/4 round to finish the look. Everything went smoothly and with respect. We recommend them highly.
