We really enjoyed our dinner at Amelia‘s. Seating is both inside and outside and while busy there was no wait for a table. The menu has many options for all tastes and it is conveniently located on Oracle. The tacos were very good as well as the burritos, guacamole and flan with chocolate cake. While we were spending a few days in Tucson, this was by far the best restaurant meal we had.

The server was Eva and she provided excellent service from the moment we walked through the door. She was attentive and suggested some dishes and knew spanish which made it more feel like home. It was our first time tasting some of the dishes we ordered and they were amazing. Definitely recommend to other and absolutely will be back.

Not a great experience...a one and done for us. We sat outside with our pup. A nice outdoor area, but 3 tables hadn't been cleared. They were finally cleared after 15 mins and then it took another 10 mins to wipe them down. Service was terrible. No contact with waitress for 15 mins. I finally got a beer that wasn't cold enough. Food was blah. I got 3 street tacos. The carne asada was overcooked and flavorless. The Al Pastor was just some cut up pork with nasty sauce, not a real al pastor that should be charred/cooked on a spit. The Pico de gallo wasn't fresh, as the onions were near translucent. Yuck. Wife said her enchiladas were good.

I was honestly really excited to try to eat here and I went for someone’s birthday. I heard great things especially with a James beard, but the first thing I ate was a raw torito.:( that was like a week ago and I had a bite of the raw bacon and ever since that day I haven’t been able to eat in fear of going to the bathroom on myself, I’m in constant stomach pain. We did get them remade but the server was like that’s how it was thinking we were talking about the unmelted cold cheese in the middle, once we pointed out the bacon thats when he decided to take it back. It was very unfortunates I had really high hopes and now because of that raw bacon on the torito and getting sick I don’t think I’ll return.

I'm actually shocked at the overall rating for this restaurant. Our experience was not anywhere in alignment with this rating, so I want to make all potential customers aware of the reality. First, our server was cold and absent. I ordered a beer, and it took forever to come. It was likely because I suspect they were changing the keg, but the reason for the unacceptable delay was never communicated to me, and when the beer finally came, it was 1/3 foam, which again, is not acceptable. We ordered the guacamole and chips appetizer. The guac was flavorless and very disappointing. Then, the entree: I ordered a chicken burrito, and it was one of the worst burritos I've ever had at a restaurant. The chunks of chicken either had girissle or pieces of bone in them. I wasn't expecting that and bit hard enough the first time to almost crack a tooth on one of the bones. The rest of the ingredients were mushy and flavorless. I got the red sauce on top of my burrito, and it was almost cold and had a horrible flavor. The restaurant delivered both horrible food and horrible service. I can't understand why anyone would go back or give this place a good rating. We will, obviously, not be returning. Beware, and just avoid this place. This isn't "Mexican" food. It's a disgrace. There are better options all around in Tucson.
