  We purchased a 24KW Generator and transfer switch from Ambrose Electric and had them do the install the whole system. This is our second generator at our location as the 15 year old Koehler was not being supported by our local Cummins dealer and had issues since originally purchased. Ambrose did a professional job, showed up on time..did as they said they’d do ( our installation was not easy as the propane line needed to be relocated and the main heat pump needed a safety relay/module. The price was good compared to 3 other quotes we received. After installation follow up was superb. We had a issue with our electric service 5 days after they completed installation. I called them thinking it had something to do with what they did. They responded quickly and checked EVERYTHING over completely. There electrician surmised it was a service problem with National Grid, there was no charge for the visit. The next day National Grid came out and found the problem on our connection to the power pole on the street. I have had two more times that I needed to contact Ambrose over the last 9 months for just questions, there contact Michael Stein was always available promptly and courteously. If there were 6 stars available I’d give them that. 👍

  I would not recommend them. They put a grounding pole through our pipe which caused a clog and flooded bathroom. They said they would reimburse us for plumber costs. Now refusing. They said it was on warranty. They fixed the pipe so 1 star. We paid them $2500 for original work. We should be reimbursed for the problems which was their mistake which cost us $2100.
