  I absolutely love this place. Found it last year with my son going to MSU and living close by. We are known to frequent here. He recently introduced one of his roommates to it and my girlfriend was willing to try it. The food is amazing. Must try the tea and sambusa. The staff is excellent, friendly service, knowledgeable and it always is clean. So good I might actually go there for dinner sometime this week

  Sooo delicious and many choices including vegan, vegetarian and meats ( chicken, beef, lamb). Just got takeout so haven't sampled in-house dining yet. Portions were perfect. Spicing just hot enough.

  Altu’s has been my favorite restaurant in Lansing for a long time. Genuinely amazing food, real ingredients, authenticity, and a very cozy little restaurant

  Tried their vegetarian combo. There's only one person to help the customers and he is very helpful in picking the combo items. The lima beans is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely visit the restaurant whenever I visit Detroit.

  I ordered out, so didn't experience the atmosphere here. But the food is SO GOOD. I would ideally like to eat at Altu's once or twice per week! I especially enjoy the yellow peas, Lima beans, bread and cabbage together!! YUM
