Called to see if they were accepting new patients for my child, the woman who spoke with me had no professionalism, no manners, talked over me and then due to me addressing that my child having ASD says to me, "we don't accept people with Autism Diagnosis and even if we did, our Pediatric Dr. Leaves this fall of 2025 and we have no plans on getting anymore Pediatrics in this practice so guess your going to have to call Pittsburgh." Just he over all arrogance and rudeness involved that didn't have to be it takes less effort to be kind. I pray that woman finds peace with herself whatever is going on in her personal life. 🙏

Husband has been a patient there for years and years...he works out of town mon-thurs...he developed squigglies in his eye and flashes of light..it was Thursday eve..I called fri morning and talked to Tracey ( hung up on me) and then shelby...I cant begin to tell you how rotten my husband was treated..he went to a eye dr out of town( while working) and that eliminated him being a patient back home in Altoona they said..Shelby was so ignorant to him and he asked if he could speak to his Dr and she said she would not tell the Dr and hes not welcome back in the office ever due to going to someone out of town once..he called back and said he was desperate and Tracey hung up on him..ends up we couldn't find a ophthalmologist to see him until almost 2 weeks later..he had a detached retina..he has very little sight now in that eye..Dr tells him he doubts he will get it back due to waiting so long to see a dr,but noone had any openings ( we tried everywhere)even tho we told them his symptoms...he went to the ER, but all they did was test him for a stroke due to flashing lights..they didn't have a machine to even see in his eye...We blame Tracy and Shelby for his blindness!!!! This place does not care about their patients..Drs need to know how patients are treated..we tell everyone everywhere we go..Tracy and Shelby are cruel and need to be watched how they treat patients...drs there need informed!!!!!!this is so unfair to my husband and how he cant see now...:((((

Terrible experience with a vision practice - actually the worst I’ve ever experienced. The staff couldn’t figure out to schedule my appt. The first one they needed to cancel which was not a problem because one of the doctors was sick so they said next available appt is in 2 weeks. Then they confirmed the appointment a few days before. A few hours later, they called to say they need to reschedule again. I said ok that’s fine and I also told them I can see any doctor in that practice, it doesn’t need to be one specifically (the one who was out sick) since I’m a new patient. 2 - 3 minutes later they called back and said that appointment time they offered to me had been taken and they need the next available appointment is in another 2 weeks. They never acknowledged their mistakes, did not apologize and the woman hung up the phone on me when I said I’ll just look for a different practice to go to.
