I am very pleased with the work performed by Alpha Foundation. I have had work done at 2 different homes. The issues were different and Alpha Foundation was more than capable to resolve my home issues. The workers are very professional and skilled, keeping me updated on the job progress and when they would leave for lunch. All in all, a very pleasant and productive experience. I highly recommend Alpha Foundation.

Alpha Foundation Repair is an outstanding company. I will not allow anyone else to work on my foundation. In 2018 I began a full renovation and expansion of my pier & beam home in the Grapevine Historic District. As a first step in the renovation, I called Alpha Foundation Repair. I wanted an engineering evaluation and a cost estimate to design, restore, and strengthen my foundation. I was immediately impressed by the expertise of the Alpha Foundation Repair team. They clearly explained what was needed, why it was needed, and what it would cost. As work on the foundation progressed, I was equally impressed by the high quality of the finished project. When talking with family and friends about my restored historic home, I never fail to mention my re-engineered and re-constructed foundation as a unique and distinguishing feature of the renovation. I recently called Alpha Foundation Repair back to inspect my foundation after discovering a small but long-running leak in the plumbing that had severely damaged a bathroom subfloor. I was also concerned the leak may have damaged the new foundation built in 2018. Michael came out to assess the situation. After a thorough inspection in the crawlspace, Michael reported the foundation was undamaged. He stayed and patiently answered all my questions, and even offered advice about repairing the subfloor. Michael spent 30+ minutes on site, plus drive time of at least another 30+ minutes. After all that, he refused to accept payment for his inspection and advice. I couldn't be happier with the original foundation work completed by Alpha Foundation Repair in 2018, but I'm even more impressed by Alpha's willingness to help a customer long after the original project was done. I really believe they care in a personal way about every customer and every project they do.

We've used Alpha Foundation several times for Preston-Hollow Houses. When I wanted the god-awful naked bottom-line truth?? They educated me on Texas/Dallas Foundations & the Clay soil. Apparently we've been fed a bunch of BS with regards to "Watering" a foundation. The Foundation & underlying clay-soil needs to be as BONE-DRY as possible....naturally, if one logically thinks about this?? it makes sense. The "grade" of the soil that approaches a houses foundation erodes over time (Hence the reason foundation issues pop up after a few decades). Proper conducting of rain-fall AWAY from the foundation is the key & the reason behind using "LANDSCAPING" to accomplish this....but Landscaping, for anyone who's checked into it, can be rather expensive ($15-$20K). That's why most people often opt for Gutters & Down-Spouts which are often-times INCORRECTLY Installed myndlessly & without attention to what they are designed to do & accomplish. Think about it: a Down-Spout emptying out right next to your foundation when it's supposed to be & conduct the rain run-off about 5' Ft. AWAY from your foundation is doing NOTHING but ruining your foundation....it certainly is just concentrating water exactly where it does NOT need to be!. Hence? the reasoning behind installing a perimeter "French drain" but again...these are rather expensive ($15K to $20K) & hardly any home-owner wants to know "the truth". So?? Well, educate yourself as a Home-owner & I mean really RESEARCH things in a careful personal manner. then?? You'll be better prepared for the options...most of which are expensive. Here's a great American Quote from the late 1800's to consider: “It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”― John Ruskin Alpha is a great Company. They know things other don't. They do the job right & if you'll allow them?? They'll educate you with some ideas & considerations to research to find what's right for you & your house & budget.
