WARNING: Discriminatory Service & Unethical Behavior To Potential Customers: Please be aware of the unacceptable service and discriminatory practices at this location. I had a highly upsetting and racially targeted experience on Alo Palo Alto, My friends and I were pressured and targeted by staff after an impatient customer made a racist comment. When an associate was speaking with this rude customer, the customer loudly stated, "Yes I know, they live in China." Instead of intervening or defending us from this derogatory and racist remark, the staff immediately turned their attention to us. They abruptly cited an unposted "policy" to force us out of the fitting room area. This sudden, targeted enforcement, immediately following the racist comment, was a clear and direct act of racial discrimination. I strongly advise caution when shopping here. Staff training on handling racism and ensuring fair treatment is urgently needed. Until the company addresses this behavior, other customers from minority backgrounds should be aware of the risk of similar treatment.

Alo Yoga at this store messed up my order last week - they should have refunded me a gift card but they did it wrong at the store. So they owe me a gift card worth of 150+ dollars now. They claimed nothing they could do because the manager was not there. And, they promised to fix it by sending me an email or phone update with online gift card . I trusted them and I didn’t want to make the life of their employees hard. However, it has been 2days and did not hear back ever. Alo- This is ridiculous and is cheating to your customers. Please respond to me immediately before I seek for legal consultation.

8 fitting rooms, half empty store, people still have to wait in line to try things on bc most fitting rooms are used as storage areas instead of… fitting rooms.

We visited the ALO Yoga Palo Alto store around 4:00 PM today, July 18, and had a very disappointing experience. The customer service was terrible—we felt judged, and the treatment we received seemed discriminatory I wanted to try on the neon bubblegum crop top and matching cap. When I brought them to the fitting room, the associate assisting there abruptly told me I wasn’t allowed to try the cap inside and took it from me without any explanation. I didn’t get her name, unfortunately. When I asked if they had a new stock of the crop top, she rudely asked, “WHY?!” I asked simply because I intended to buy it and preferred a fresh piece—but instead, she just gave me another crop top that was already displayed outside, not a new one. When we were ready to pay, no one came to assist us. My husband even had to approach the staff to let them know we were checking out—but they still ignored us. Thankfully, the associate who eventually helped us at checkout was polite and respectful. She was the only one with a professional attitude. Not only did she assist us with our purchase, but she also asked if everything was okay, which we truly appreciated. Team members like the one in the fitting room are damaging your brand. They ruined what should have been a pleasant shopping experience. I hope this is addressed seriously, because it reflects poorly on your company.
