I visited this ALO store for the first time in my life a few weeks ago, searching for a new workout set to support my fitness journey. Liana assisted me and provided an exceptional experience! she was attentive, knowledgeable, and made thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited my preferences. Her genuine care and professionalism made me feel truly valued as a customer. Thank you, Liana! I look forward to returning soon for more!! I hope her outstanding service is recognized.

I recently visited one of your stores, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing retail experiences I’ve ever had. Your staff seemed completely untrained — instead of helping customers, they were laughing, chatting, and doing everything but their job.
When I asked to check a size, I waited over 20 minutes, only to be told it wasn’t available. Strangely, once I asked to speak with the manager, the item suddenly appeared. The manager’s attitude, however, wasn’t much better.
The whole atmosphere felt more like a group of friends hanging out than a professional store representing a global brand. One associate in particular — the curly-haired woman — was notably impolite and dismissive.

절대 가지마세요 하루 기분 망치실 수 있어요^^ 직원이란 사람들이 대여섯명있는데 노래부르고 춤추고 있고 자기네들끼리 소통 안돼서 사이즈 체크도 잘 못하고. 사이즈 요청하고 20분넘게 기다렸는데 한다는 소리가 사이즈 없다는 말. 미안하다고도 안하고 자기 동료 핑계들 댑니다. 더 문제는 있는 사이즈를 없다고함. 팔 생각이 없어보임. 매니저 불러서 뭐라하니까 아무 의미 없었던게 매니저도 똑같음. 멍때리다가 쏘리 하고 자기 갈길 가버려요. 사이즈 없다고 한 직원은 매니저랑 얘기하니까 혼날거는 또 무서웠는지 갑자기 달려오더니 사이즈 찾았다고 하고 난리법석. 인종차별인지 모든 인종에게 다 그런지 모르겠지만, 문제가 확실히 있고 뉴욕에 플래그십 매장인데 이정도로 관리하면 alo 브랜드도 잠깐 뜨고 지는 브랜드가 될거라 예측해봅니다~ 퉤퉤~~~

There were about six employees, all singing and dancing around, completely disorganized and unable to communicate with each other. They couldn’t even check sizes properly.
I asked for a size and waited over 20 minutes, only to be told they didn’t have it. No apology — they just blamed their coworkers.
Worse yet, they did have the size but claimed they didn’t. They clearly had no intention of actually selling anything.
When I asked for the manager, it didn’t help at all — the manager was exactly the same. He just zoned out, said “sorry,” and walked away.
Then, the employee who said there was no size must’ve been scared of getting in trouble, because she suddenly came running back saying she “found it!” — complete chaos.
I’m not sure if it was discrimination or if they treat everyone like this, but either way, there’s definitely a problem.
If this is how they run their New York flagship store, I predict that Alo will be just another brand that flares up for a moment and fades away soon.
Disgraceful
I was changing clothes in the fitting room when a female staff member suddenly opened the door without knocking. There was no lock on the door, and it was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing that the employee saw me while I was changing. I was shocked and felt completely violated. What’s worse, the staff member didn’t even bother to apologize afterward. This is absolutely unacceptable. When I checked other reviews, I saw that others had experienced the same thing. I will never visit this store again.
