  Had a really disappointing experience at this ALO store. There were several staff members just standing around chatting instead of helping customers. When I walked in to grab a pair of shoes, they didn’t even ask if I needed help — they were blocking the hallway talking to each other, and I couldn’t even reach the shoes. Even when I asked a question, their attitude was unfriendly and unprofessional. Feels like too many people working there but none actually helping. Definitely not coming back.

  I’ve been reading through both the positive and negative reviews, and honestly, some of the negative ones feel pretty petty. People need to remember that mistakes happen and a little patience goes a long way. Every time I’ve come to this store, even though I don’t buy much, the staff has always been kind, respectful, and helpful. Working in retail isn’t easy, and these employees do their best in a busy environment where they’re not exactly making big salaries. Expecting concierge-level service in this kind of store is unrealistic. They’re doing a good job, and I appreciate their effort. Thanks for reading!

  The fitting room staff were very rude and unprofessional, especially the male staff who was working at the fitting room entrance on Friday between 4–6 pm. He had long curly hair, did not offer any assistance, and simply stood there with an unfriendly expression as I came out. I prefer not to mention his race, cause I don’t want anyone to think I’m being discriminatory. After reading other customer reviews, I realized that I’m not the only one who feels the customer experience at Alo is very poor. I won’t shop at a store where the staff make me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable🙂

  Typically, stores that don’t really need to cater to customers because they will sell either way, don’t have the best customer service. However this store has EXCEPTIONAL customer service. They are so extremely kind, polite, and patient. They go above and beyond to be helpful. I’m so upset that I forgot the girls name that helped me but she had long curly hair in a ponytail. I think, Anastasia? Doesn’t matter because they are ALL nice. I just wanted to highlight how incredibly helpful she was and helped me pick the cutest outfit. Also a girl from Arizona and a Persian girl from Glendale have helped me in the past and been so nice.

  I love going to fashion Island, this is my favorite Alo store, the reps were friendly and helpful. Love the new pink line they have for this season... Bought some new pink leggings and knit dress.
