I would rate zero, but that’s the system for you. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I never went into an Alo store before until this month when they opened in my city. I was excited try them out. They do not accept returns if your item is defective…bought a candle and it doesn’t scent my room at all. $42 plus for a non-working candle. The associates do not care, claims its policy because they can’t resell it. Don’t waste your time or money.
The table that had the leggings on it that I was purchasing was kind of dusty…resulting in the leggings accumulating dust. Other than that everything was fine. There were lots of staff working and they were all pretty friendly.
This is probably a review of the company itself but I went in today to do an exchange, for the exact same item, in the same color and size due to the itchy built in brief. I walked in expecting an equal exchange. There has been a price increase from when I purchased the item, 3 weeks ago. Because of this, they didn’t honor the price I bought it at. This is wrong and sketchy in so many ways. It’s not like I made a new purchase, I’m doing an exchange from a previous order that occurred before the price increase.
Update: Talked to Customer Service and they honored my original purchase price which made it an even exchange. Trust your gut when something doesn’t seem right. The two ladies who helped me didn’t see what they did was wrong.

I drove two hours to this location because it was the closest one that had my size in a particular jacket I needed. Although I was greeted, the energy was not what I was used to from frequently shopping at the SouthPark location in Charlotte, North Carolina. Within five minutes of shopping, my best friend and I noticed a security guard come from outside in the rain. It was very obvious that she had been called, and it was clear that she had been called for a reason other than the color of our skin. It was very noticeable because she wasn’t there while the Caucasian customers were shopping before we came in. It’s so unfortunate that this was my experience, especially when I’m spending my hard-earned money.

OUUU JOEL AND BRI….. chefs kiss it didn’t even feel like I was shopping. They were amazing and extremely nice and helpful. They definitely are top tier employees. Joel is now my new friend simple. Give that man a raise honestly.
