This complaint should have been made a long time ago, and I've been putting it off, but today I decided to do it. Every time I go to my Pilates class, the pants bother me a lot because they don't stretch well, they keep bunching up, and my belly sticks out. I bought this pair recently, in May 2024, and I only use it for Pilates! I always alternate with the competition, which is much better, by the way!
- I was visiting from Australia and really liked that this store keeps things simple. They don’t overwhelm you with too many options and focus on doing a few things well, which I appreciate.
- I do wish they had more stock though as some of the shirts I liked weren’t available in my size. Luckily, I still managed to grab one.
- Prices are on the dearer side.
- Staff were friendly and helpful.
Buyer Beware!!!!
Purchased a sub standard yoga mat, tried to return it that next week, they refused to take it back and said I had to call customer service.
I’ve had this item for less than six months, and the Alo label is already peeling off. I started shopping at Alo expecting higher quality given the price point, but I’ve never had this issue with Lululemon or Vuori. To make matters worse, Alo only offers replacements within 30 days—so beyond that, you’re out of luck. Very disappointed with both the quality and the customer service, especially at the SouthPark location. If you want activewear that lasts, I recommend going to Lululemon or Vuori instead.

I have had now two horrible interactions here. First, the staff refused to honor a coupon I received for a 15% off my first purchase because they were “unable to get the code to work.” Second, I received some leggings as a gift for my birthday and wanted to exchange them for a size larger. The staff were “unable” to assist me, as my family members phone number did not list the transaction under their account. The leggings were unworn, still had the tag, and were still on display with multiple sizes in stock. The staff could not be bothered, insisting I take it up with customer support. The branding and pricing would suggest Alo thinks of themselves as a premium brand. However, their mid quality and incompetent service would strongly suggest otherwise. If you’re dying to waste your money on trendy fitness wear — save yourself the headache and go to LuLu instead.
