0 STARS Literally have found better or similar clothing on Shein for a quarter of the price. Bought an outfit for my son, pants were flimsy, thin, and overall disappointing. He's tall, pants went above his ankles, went to return, WITH THE RECEIPT, told by girl at desk she couldn't return them. Asked for a manager. Got Shay with an attitude the size of somerset mall. Shay, I'm curious if you designed these clothes personally, are related to the people who own ALO, or just don't need to be working in customer service in GENERAL? Her attitude SUCCCCCCCED and her questions about why I was returning them were outlandish. Not like she was trying to rectify the situation, more like why am I making her do her job? Idk. Beware. Customer service, TERRIBLE. Selection, TERRIBLE. Quality of clothing for the price, TERRIBLE OUTLANDISH. 0 STARS

Manager with the short dark hair and glasses was extremely rude. Very rude to my children and offered no help. Will not be shopping there again.

Very disappointing experience. My 6-year-old dropped a candle on her foot and got hurt, and instead of checking if she was okay, the staff got mad and gave us a hard time. Rude and unprofessional—I won’t be shopping here again.

All these workers like to profile people, which is funny coming from people who work at the store😂 For a store who just opened it is crazy to already have such bad reviews. Work on getting a new staff it is needed.

had an extremely disappointing experience at the Alo store in Somerset Mall, Troy, MI. My wife purchased a matching Alo top and bottom just two weeks ago. She wore the outfit once inside our home and realized it didn’t feel right — the fit was awkward and uncomfortable, especially the pants, which are poorly designed to drag along the ground. When we returned the items (in perfect condition aside from a small scuff at the bottom hem caused by the design flaw itself), we were met with dismissiveness and rigid enforcement of a return policy that completely disregards customer goodwill. Rather than standing behind their product or valuing a loyal customer, the staff gave us a hard time, refused a refund, and only offered a limited exchange — even though the items were clearly worn only briefly and returned well within the 30-day window. Let’s be honest — this isn’t a high-volume clearance outlet. When you’re charging premium prices for activewear, the least you can do is back your product with basic courtesy and common sense. Instead, we were made to feel like we were trying to scam them, simply for returning something that didn’t work for us. No one explained at purchase that even lightly worn items (indoors, once) are ineligible for a refund, and no exceptions were made — not even when we pointed out the issue was due to their own design dragging on the ground. This is the kind of short-sighted, unfriendly service that drives customers away. I expected much better from a brand like Alo. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t shop at this location again — and I urge others to be extremely cautious before buying anything here unless you’re 100% sure you’ll never need to return it.
