Our house unfortunately was a victim to a hail storm like many others in May of 2025. When picking an exterior company for a new roof and new siding, we were pleased when a company was working next door to us who seemed to be efficient and precise. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience as our next door neighbor.
The day of our roof install, a rain storm hit and the workers left trash, ropes, equipment, a ladder, loose shingles, and many nails scattered in our yard. We were understanding of this due to the weather. However, they did not return the next day, or even multiple days after, to clean up after themselves or even to check to make sure nothing was left behind. After multiple revisits to fix problems with the roof, it was finally finished.. so we thought. Gutters were installed next but they had to come back to fix yet another roof issue and in doing so, dented both brand new gutters.
All Exteriors did help to fight our insurance company for our siding which we do appreciate and are grateful for. However, when installing the siding, the nails they were using went directly through and into some of our shower tile - shattering it. All Exteriors refused to help with the cost of the repair of our shower, stating that they were not liable for the damages. The fact that we can see nails coming through our shower tile, and they still are not taking responsibility for it is insane. The project manager on site offered to fix it himself because he felt so bad. It’s very disheartening that there is a company that is okay with their employees working for free to fix a mistake that their company made, because they refuse to correct it.
The shower was not the only thing damaged during their work. One of our outdoor cameras was cracked, and a garden memorial for a passed loved one is just completely missing out of the garden.
After their “last day” of work, they were demanding a check for the remaining $10,000. At this point, the gutter installers have yet to be back to reinstall new gutters that were previous damaged. Please keep in mind, the insurance company had not sent the check to us yet because they wanted photos of the completed work before they would disclose the amount of money to us. After reviewing the contract that we signed, their contract stated we had 3 business days from project completion to pay the remaining balance on the invoice provided. The amount we were told was on a text message to the project manager. We never received an invoice - and with the gutters not on the house, we didn’t find the project to be complete. All while still being pretty bitter that our shower is out of commission because of their work that they will not take responsibility for. They seemed as if they were completely unaware of their own contract agreements.
All Exteriors was not understanding of any of these factors and the office staff were not pleasant to speak to about these matters. We want to so desperately love our roof and siding but it is so hard to enjoy when so many mistakes and arguments have followed. We unfortunately will never recommend this company to anyone and have actually told people to avoid them at all costs. Where we are left with new siding and a roof, we are also left to navigate trying to clean up their mistakes. After All Exteriors received their payment, we still have not heard from them in regard to our broken camera or shower tile. When picking an exterior company, please do not make the same mistake we did and do thorough research.
