Frequently Asked Questions About All American Carpet & Tile

How long does the carpet take to dry?

Depends on type of carpet, how dirty it is and the weather outside. Polyester or polypropylene carpets are oil-based and may take longer to dry. We recommend running an absorbent bonnet over the carpet after the cleaning to speed up dry times dramatically. Ask the technicians about it! The dirtier it is, the more moisture must be used to clean it. Sunny days with low humidity allow it to dry faster. On average, most carpets dry in 4 to 8 hours.

Why do my carpets get dirty faster after the last guy cleaned it?

Perhaps he used too much soap or didn't neutralize his detergent. We pre-treat the traffic areas and spots with an alkaline organic enzyme and then rinse it with hot water mixed with an acidic rinsing agent thus leaving the carpet residue free and a neutral ph.
