  Misty is a great trainer and She taughtme how to be a better pet owner learning my dogs language. My great Pyrenees had the wonder lust and now she stays on my farm at the top of the driveway with the help of the halo. This is very important to me for safety reasons and my 93-year-old mom lives with me and it’s alone when I work Jasper also knows how to load up in my truck (big boys is heavy I can’t lifti him) Jasper comes sit and we are working on lie down. I especially like her knowledge of the correction E collar it just is gentle correcting. It has been a wonderful experience and we’re not quite done . The support staff communicates efficiently with me about Appointments .It had been worth the time and cost for the training j

  We contacted Alan, after our 8mo old corgi got a bad report from a groomer we visited, on top of 2 other failed training attempts at other places. Alonso has trouble with his paws being touched, as well as being a typical corgi (wanting to be the boss of everything). Immediately, Alan assigned us to Misty for 1-on-1 training. I cannot say enough good things about Misty, within our first session with her, I felt she truly loved and cared about Alonso and wanted to see him thrive. She even went the extra mile to borrow a grooming table for our sessions, so Alonso can get more comfortable with grooming practices while at home. Every week, our family looks forward to our session with Misty, as we are improving each week and we are given more things to start working on. Right now, Alonso has grown leaps and bounds and we as owners have learned so much!

  We recently used a dog‑training service for one of our more “spirited” pups, and while the cost was clearly outlined up front, it still represented a significant investment. In the end, every dollar proved to be well‑spent—the expertise, personalized attention, and lasting results made it unquestionably worthwhile. The staff were excellent—patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly when answering our questions and addressing our concerns. The “follow‑me‑home” trainer, Kendall, was spectacular. She went out of her way to accommodate not only our newly transformed pup but also the other animals in our household and our children. She handled everything with grace and a positive attitude. Overall, the service was worth the investment, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for professional, compassionate dog training.

  Alan’s training academy is amazing, and everyone we have worked with and spoken to has been absolutely fantastic! Our family sent our new puppy (read crazy demon baby) to the puppy board and train program, and she came back a different dog in the best ways. It was unbelievable how well mannered and behaved she was. Worth every penny and then some. Our trainer Kendall visited us in-home in the following weeks and was phenomenal. Patient, kind, flexible, and just a great person. Kendall helped us continue and strengthen our training experience, listened with empathy, offered great advice, and really cemented that we will be utilizing Alan’s academy for years to come. Thank you to the academy and a special thank you to Kendall!

  What an amazing experience! From the very beginning, Alan took the time to meet with us, making sure this was the right fit for both our family and our German Shepherd. His impressive career history gave us complete confidence that not only was Alan’s K9 Academy the right choice, but that we’d be working with truly best-in-class trainers. We were 100% correct. Misty worked with our GSD rescue—who, in many ways, rescued us too. He had been lacking confidence, and Misty built a solid foundation that transformed him into a confident young dog eager to learn and thrive. Just as importantly, she made sure we were learning alongside him, reinforcing his progress and setting us up for success at home. Our pets are not objects we take out when it’s convenient—they are part of our daily lives. When you truly incorporate them into your family, the bond and growth you experience in return is nothing short of amazing. If your dog is more than “just a dog” and truly part of your family, Alan’s K9 Academy—and trainers like Misty—are exactly what you need. Just remember: training doesn’t stop when you leave.
