  Buyer beware! Alamo Water Softeners may seem appealing, but if you’re looking for reliable customer service and quality workmanship, you should look elsewhere. I contracted them through my local Lowe's for a whole-house water filtration system. If I had known they sold a proprietary system that only they can service or provide parts for, I never would have chosen to move forward with them—especially since they decided to no longer service Houston! I've had three companies come out and they've all said my system was plumbed incorrectly. The filter is behind the resin. I called Alamo, they said they would have a manger reach out to me two weeks ago. I've not heard back and when I call the phone rings with no answer. AWS is a money grab. They don't care about their customers or their reputation.

  Customer service is terrible. They either arrive several hours late to the agreed upon appointment or they never show up at all. I think it took more than 5 appointment date to fully install our system. I had to call them multiple times to follow up. Original appointment was set up on November 11, 2023. Due to the delays, the system was fully installed around December 29, 2023. I was frustrated but chalked it up to them being busy because of the holiday season. I called them again recently to schedule the salt delivery as I got an email that my system is overdue for salt. Got through customer service, they said someone would call me back to set an appointment. I didn't get a callback. Tried to contact them again 2x. Same thing. They told me someone would call me back but no one did. The system is working fine now but I'm worried that I won't get the help I need if ever something breaks down.

  Professional service for installation and any water treatment needed for a home. Overall great service which give customer their peace of mind when it comes to code compliance, installation and post installation services. I would recommend them to anyone in market in quest for their water treatment needs.
