  I can’t say enough good things about this vet. I have 3 cats that I take there and they have always been so wonderful. Multiple times I have called in with something emergent that happened and every single time they have said, “can you be here now?” Recently got my dad to switch vets also, and he now goes with his dog. The family dog suddenly couldn’t walk and he called his normal vet at 8am, as soon as they opened, and they couldn’t see him until 3pm. My dad was afraid the dog might be dying, and he was going to have to wait 7 hours. I told him to call my vet, and they said the same thing again, can you be here now. Their prices are affordable, and their care is top tier. I don’t know how I got so lucky to find this place, but I love them. Was half afraid to write this review, I’m afraid for them to get so many patients that I lose the quickness of care I count on from them. lol But they’re amazing, and I think anyone with a fur baby deserves to have an amazing care team to take care of the pet that they love. I can’t recommend them enough.

  Thank you again, Dr. Nadler and staff for taking the very best care of my pug at a time of concern I know without a shadow of a doubt he is in the best hands that any vet has to offer. You have a forever customer with our family.

  Alachua Animal Hospital has the best veterinary care I have ever experienced. My dachshund, Simba, was very sick and they treated him with care and communicated with the other hospital/doctors that were working on his case. Dr. Nadler even spoke with Simba's other doctor proposing unique treatment ideas, or possible diagnoses, we could try (as they know, Simba was a very difficult case haha). My other dogs have always been treated with compassion and personalized care. When I call for any urgent matter, they work to find me a spot in their schedule as quickly as possible. The staff are also amazing- Samantha and Ana have both been helpful, loving, and kind. My dogs have seen both Dr. Nadler and Dr. Osa. When it was time for one of my dogs to pass away, Dr. Osa and Ana handled that situation with care. They both sat with me until I was ready to say my final goodbye. I received a personalized card with paw prints in the mail after he passed away. I consider myself and my dogs as part of the Alachua Animal Hospital community, and I HIGHLY recommend using them for your veterinary needs. They treat all of their clients with respect and care deeply about their patient's outcomes. They have seen me through some of my roughest days with grace and love. P.S. Added bonus: Dr. Osa is certified in acupuncture. Two of my dogs have received acupuncture through her, and it works really well! It gave my German Shepherd another year to live. With my other dog... well he is special and I am not sure anyone can fix his psychological issues (but Dr. Osa continues to try!).

  I took a kitten in that I rescued from the road and they gave great compassionate care. Gave her a good exam and a free sample mfor flea meds and flushed her itchy ears to clean and comfort her. Wonderful vet clinic that genuinely cares for their patients and caregivers!

  I would give more than 5 starts if I could. Recently my dog Luna (a Bernese Mountain dog) was acting very lethagic, not eating and I could tell by her eyes something was very wrong. I took her to an emergency vet in Gainesville since this was late at night. They explained Luna had Pyometra (I highly encourage people to look it up because I didnt know about it) and needed emergency surgery asap. UF was a 6-8 hour wait so the vet said to check with her vet, Alachua Animal Hospital in the morning and sent them Luna's diagnosis. I arrived at Alachua Animal Hospital right before they opened but needed to call my Dr who also opened at 8am to tell them I wouldnt make my appointment and while on the phone Alachua Animal Hospital CALLED ME to ask when I would be coming in with Luna I told them I was already outside and they helped me get her out of the car and inside, they were already prepared for Luna! They had papers printed for me, Dr. Osa spoke to me and they took her back immediately.They updated me when she was done and answered all of my questions with patience and understanding. Samme at the front desk helped me apply for care credit so I truly didnt have to do anything but focus on Luna. This meant alot to me because I could not even think straight and had not slept. They have called me every day (we are on day 5) after her surgery to check on her and allowed me to send photos if I had questions or concerns. I am extremely greatful to Dr. Osa, Samme, Christian, Angela and Alexandra (sorry if I forgot any names buy they are all amazing). I had only taken Luna there twice previously but they have treated her like she has been going there for many years.
