- ZLZeng LiuOct 8, 20251.0Brad from service department came to service our furnace yearly and was very temperamental. Asked me to clean out the furnace room when there are plenty of space for him to move his equipment in. He started pushing our kid play set in the basement very hard. The tech took photo of our basement without asking for permission and when I wanted to watch him due to his behavior, he asked me to leave and not be on his way. Very bad service from the company I’ve used for the past 6 years without issue, previous service technician came for the past 4-5 years without any issue.

Do you have a minimum delivery amount?
Our minimum delivery amount is 150 gallons. For optimal safety and efficiency, we recommend placing an order when your tank gauge reads between 3/8 and 1/4 full. This recommendation is based on a standard 275-gallon tank capacity.
Do you offer any [ guarantees / warranties ] for your work?
Al's Oil Service is committed to customer satisfaction. Please contact our office for specific information about our guarantees and warranties on our products and services.
What is the percentage of biofuel in your heating oil?
In compliance with Massachusetts state regulations, our heating oil contains 5% or less biofuel. We do not add or blend any additional biofuel to our product. Our customers can rely on us to provide high-quality heating oil that meets all state requirements.
Do you provide emergency deliveries and service?
Yes, we offer emergency runout deliveries and burner service for our existing customers. Please be aware that additional fees may apply for these emergency services.
Do you offer payment plans and lock-in pricing?
We provide a 10-month budget contract and oil payment plan, as well as a fixed price pre-purchase contract. Our plans typically begin in July, so we encourage customers to contact us in early summer. Given the volatility of oil prices, as evidenced by the $120 per barrel cost in summer 2022, we recommend reaching out to us to discuss our affordable service options.
