  I'm handicapped & visit/bring Japanese food to an elderly patient in a skilled nursing facility as well as some other Japanese American ladies in the Independent Living section. We all rate the food EXCELLENT. The smile on the skilled nursing patient as she ate her vegetable tempura was priceless. Speaking of which for the amount of food the pricing was very reasonable. Most of all the service is above and beyond. Akita is the only Japanese restaurant in a 25 mile radius that was kind enough to run my order to the car. All others refused, even though I explained I was handicapped & pulling the walker out & walking long distances is very difficult. Domo arigato to Akita for great food, good prices, & services above & beyond.

  Coming from the land of Sushi in Seattle and Vancouver Canada - this is the worst Sushi joint ever. Let’s start with the tempura’s - it is done wrong with not enough Batter and the texture is pretty bad. They use tiny shrimps making each tempura super tiny you can take it all in one bite! Their Sushi is lacking taste and some are too moist!

  All I gotta say is try the creamy yam roll ... It's delicious 🤤 and the hot night roll, never misses

  Best sashimi and sushi I have had in years! Authentic Beautiful presentation Will be back next time I’m in town. I was greeted at the door, all the staff were very sweet and cheerful. The chefs in the back work with pride. I’m so glad I found this place. Highly recommend!
