Wow I love this place, so solid and the quality is great! Always delicious, satisfying and feels good in my belly. I recommend the wrap, half chicken half gyro

I’m new to the area and so far this is the best food I’ve had. I ordered online, picked up 15 minutes later, and bam! I was so satisfied with the Chicken Shawarma Bowl. I was pretty hungry, ate most of it , and have leftovers for later, so great portions! The green sauce was ma favorite I found myself licking the plastic container clean. The garlic sauce was also really good. I got the “white” sauce on the side, I’m glad they have that option because I will likely be warming up later. I do wish I would have asked for extra green sauce, next time! As soon as I arrived I was kindly greeted by two gentlemen, 20 seconds later I was out. I’m eager to try the rest of their food as everything in the bowl was fresh, tasty, and exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend trying this place if you’re craving a kebab. I tried the gyro bowl and I was really happy with it. Everything was tasty and the meat was generous. I’d definitely go back. And kudos for calling it kebab and not kabob.

10/10 recommend Akhis for authentic Shawarma! I got the chicken shawarma wrap and it was phenomenal, the bread they use is so tasty and nothing like I’ve ever had! The staff is friendly and very welcoming.

Best shawarma, gyro, and falafel wrap in San Diego — hands down. Akhis blew me away. The chicken shawarma was packed with flavor, the gyro was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the falafel wrap might be the best I’ve had — super crispy outside, soft inside, and loaded with fresh toppings. Everything tastes clean and fresh, and I love that they use no seed oils and focus on real ingredients. The sauces (especially the mint yogurt and spicy green) tie everything together perfectly. The staff is friendly and passionate, and the whole experience feels like a hidden gem. Small space, but huge flavor. Can’t recommend this spot enough!
