  I’ve been taking my two dogs to Brandie for years. She does an amazing job grooming my mini Aussie doodle! My big retriever mix loves her too! I cannot recommend Brandie and Affectionate Grooming enough. The staff are all so sweet. My dogs are excited to get groomed and bathed!!!

  I have gone to this place for probably about 5 years and let me start this by saying I have loved it up until the last year. The first time things went wrong was when they dyed my dogs hair for no reason? Gave her a streak of color down her head and made it blue and pink tiedye…right before family pictures I might add that my dog was included in obviously. They called me 3 times that day which is very odd for them, normally they just call to pick up but they called me and said hey your “boyfriend” said it was okay to dye your dogs hair… and I thought it was a joke…. My fiancé was IRATE because this was never a conversation they had with him what so ever but someone else that was in the groomer at the same time, so I’m assuming there was confusion somewhere, I let it go. Yesterday they had my dog for 5 and a half hours. I finally called when it hit the 5 hour mark and they said “we’re about to start on her we had a lot of walk in nail trims”…. Okay but I booked this appointment at 9 am, now it’s 1:45-2pm….. they have a 3 hour window from what is as told that they needed to have dogs in and out by. I called to express my concerns because my dog was sent home with nails that don’t look cut, I do not think her glands were expressed and her cut was so choppy I genuinely was so upset by this. They called me about 25-30 minutes after I got off the phone to check on my dog and they said “hey she’s ready”….. so they rushed through the entire thing. I called them and they called me back this morning and did nothing but sigh, and say “okaaaaay” repeatedly and Autumn, the girl who I talked to that groomed my dog was just so rude and insensitive. She even yawned and laughed at one point. I’m just so disappointed in this place truly….. 5 years of business with them and I won’t go back. Just to add, they have known me and my dog for 5 years and always call HER a HIM. That is just the cherry on top for me.

  You know how you can tell that some people love dogs more than humans? Yeah, this place. Oh, and your pup will look fantastic too!

  Spike is part MinPin and his claws are black. I tried to clip his claws only once and drew blood. It was a stressful experience for both of us! Now I can’t get close to him with clippers or a grinder. However, he will let those ladies grind his claws without being stressed. If fact when we park, Spike cannot get out of the car fast enough! He loves going there and we get his claws done every two weeks. I heartily recommend Affectionate Grooming!
