- TBTanner BowmanOct 24, 20252.0I unfortunately cannot recommend working with Advantage Fireplace mostly because of the customer service I received working with them in replacing my gas fireplace. Kevin is difficult to get ahold of by design - when you call or email, he is always busy with a customer, on lunch, or out of town. Everything gets passed off to Brittany to handle, who is very pleasant to work with, but ultimately drags communication and responsibility out for Kevin. Questions we had went unanswered for weeks by email and telephone. I had to chase information down every step of the way including figuring out that my items were ordered and delivered to them weeks after paying the invoice. That is unacceptable customer service. Kevin’s son installed our fireplace when it finally arrived and he is the only reason why I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1. He was professional and apologetic for the issues we had getting to that point. Reading the other reviews here, there is a pattern of this behavior, mixed with stellar reviews - so I’m not sure where the disconnect is - but I would caution folks that you are gambling with potentially being disappointed with this service. Kevin, I hope you can take this constructive feedback onboard and take better care of your customers and staff.
