- EHElizabeth HouseOct 3, 20201.0October 3, 2020 I went to the Advantage Credit Union on Mt. Hope to make a payment. I got out of my car, I see the Security guard come out of the branch and stand in front of the entrance to the bank, he lites up a cigaret as i approached the entrance, I speak and he asks if i am going into the bank and i said yes ( as he is blowing out smoke, i cough) I said yes, he lifts his right hand with the thermometer, as the cigaret is in the other hand, and says "i need to take your temperature", reluctantly, i lean in for him to take my temperature as i hold my breathe trying not to inhale cigaret smoke. I opened the door as i proceed to into the bank, when he said " there is hand sanitizer in there on the counter." I can't begin to tell you how horrible that experience was for me! This is not the first time that i have had a bad experience at this branch, the first time, i had to call the police! This time, i and writing a review. It is very unfortunate to experience these types of encounters at a bank. I spoke with management inside and he said he would speak to the security guard about it. When i left the bank, i spoke to the guard about the unpleasant encounter, how it was difficult for me to enter the bank due to his smoking right in the front door of the bank, but he was rude telling me he did not blow any smoke and repeatedly saying , have a good day, have a good day, as if he did not want to hear me..I said , thank you sir and you have a good day.
