Called before hand and brought my elderly (10 y/o) Samoyed in to be groomed since the location was close to my home. I told them he has weak legs and needs the sanitary cut due to his age as well as his medical concerns like cysts. First time in I was made aware it's cash or check ONLY. A little weird but he came out looking great the first time. I scheduled to come back in 2 months, called a week before to ask if we can get in sooner and we were accommodated. On the phone and when I arrived I let them know about the cysts and not to do anal expulsion but to still give a sanitary cut. While he's getting groomed I get a text about a puncture wound (aforementioned cyst) I asked if he needed to be picked up right away or not. We agree if he's fine then proceed. Received another text saying he won't be blowdried or finished, whatever sure. Before being shown my dog I am told the total is 217$ and write the check. When he came out he was indeed still damp, didn't look like they did a bath and de-shed but just a bath and no sanitary cut. I am walking into my home from the groomer and petting him and find POOP STUCK IN HIS CHEST FUR. I wash my hands and then take a picture and call to ask why my groomed dog is like this, and I am told over the phone that THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE KENNEL THEY PUT NY DOG IN AFTER GROOMING AFTER BEING USED BY ANOTHER DOG. and suspect that's why. I hand up and text my poop picture of the clump of poo/hair I pulled from deep in the chest and am met with arguments from the groomer saying it's a scab from his shoulder. I don't know about you but regardless of the substance in my SUPPOSED groomed dogs fur shouldn't you make sure my dog doesn't have GROSS substances in his fur when I picked him up FROM THE GROOMER?! It was definitely poop as I smelled it and smushed it on my hands as well as had it smeared on my fingers dark brown. But if it had been a scab from his shoulder why on earth would it be stuck in his chest fur and why are you arguing with a customer over text messages?!? Unprofessional, Sketchy, blatant carelessness and poor quality grooming. Usually a 70 purebred Samoyed takes longer than 3.5-4 hours to groom and that should have been my first clue. Why put a clean dog in a dirty kennel ESPECIALLY one you sent me a text message picture of having an OPEN WOUND?!

I came here yesterday to get my pugs toes trimmed and I asked for Danielle to do it and she was quick doing it and was able to get all of her toes. The last place I took her they couldn't even get but 2 toes and they were rough with her. Adorable dog and Danielle were very professional and welcome you when you come in and the salon was clean. I will go back to let Danielle do her bath next time. I was also referred by danielle when she came into my job for her eye are needs. Thank you danielle and adorable dog for trimming my pugs toes and making them look so much better.

6/24/20 We asked to keep the beard on my mini schnauzer and the groomer took it upon themselves to shave it off. it wasn't tangled or matted because i brushed it before she went in. Usually they are pretty good about doing what the customer asks.

My dog's first visit was a good one. The trouble was knowing how I wanted his furry body trimmed.
