Staff was nice and attentive however that’s where it ended. Way overpriced!

Must try eatery. The food was delicious. The meat is halal. Beef mishkaki is a must try. There was a side with sweet potato which came along with mishkaki. Don’t remember the name but it was equally good. Their brisket was good but not as good as their mishkaki.

Everything was amazing! We ordered a lot of things: appetizer platter, entree platter (a bunch of BBQ dishes), masala fries, tikka masala Mac and cheese, dessert, and a lot of drinks. My favorites were their masala fries and the beef brisket in their entree platter. There were some things that weren’t the best, but generally, most of the dishes were excellent and fell off the bone. Coming back for sure!

Went on Tuesday, wasn’t busy when we arrived. Server was fast greeting our table and taking our drink’s order right away. Mago lassi excellent!! My husband ordered chicken mishkaki, it was good to be honest, thought because it came with a redish sauce it would be spicy, we just regretted not ordering the pilau rice to eat the sauce with. I’m not sure if they do their own cornbread but was delicious. I ordered the ribs, prob not the best decision, when I saw a big portion of it I immediately asked my husband for help to finish which at the end wasn’t needed because more than half of it was FAT! I forgot to take a pic of that, I was focus on trying to separate the fat from the lean parts. Collards were nicely seasoned, while the veggies were tasteless.
I usually read reviews beforehand, someone wrote about portions not being enough for a person, I dont know how much they eat but I think what they serve per person is more than enough. About the AC (also read somewhere in the reviews) that day was working perfectly, perfect temperature.
Price wise, it’s not bad and you get a small discount paying cash.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype
First off, if I walk into your restaurant at 8:30 PM and you close at 9, I completely understand if you decide not to seat me. But instead, we were seated, and after sitting there for about 15 minutes, the waitress finally comes over just to tell us the kitchen closes in 15 minutes. If she had told us that from the start, we probably would’ve left and saved ourselves the trouble.
The place was completely empty and looks outdated—nothing like the hype it gets all over social media. To make things worse, the waitress had a horrible odor. And I’m not exaggerating—it was unbearable. A couple seated nearby with their child told us they had already been waiting an hour and a half just for appetizers and food. That should’ve been our sign to go.
When we finally placed our order (after calling the waitress over), we got the brisket with mac & cheese and caramelized yams, plus ribs with mashed potatoes, a mango shake, and a soda. The only decent things were the shake and the yams. Everything else? Greasy, heavy, and honestly disgusting. The brisket and ribs tasted like they were cooked in straight-up old grease.
To top it all off, the food made us sick. After driving all that way to try something that’s gone viral online, we left totally disappointed. I would never go back, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.
