  I had a wonderful experience with Ace hardware Lakeland handyman services! Scheduling was simple, Mike was on time, worked efficiently and left the area clean when he was finished. I had an issue where my sliding glass door didn't close properly and Mike was professional, knowledgeable and polite. Will definitely use them again!

  The gentleman was pleasant and polite. He was able to accomplish one of the 3 door sweeps without incident. One of the doors he had to “redo” and adjust the sweep upon my inspection. The front door (very important) was not completed due to the fact he didn’t have the correct part. He was going to make a second trip to obtain the correct sweep but would have to charge “extra “. This is after he had supposedly inspected and measured to purchase the part the first time. I went to purchase the part to save time. He specifically told me where to go and gave me the old part. They did not have the correct part so he had to re-install the old sweep. The door now needs adjusting due to the fact that it drags and closes with difficulty (which it did not beforehand). I’m not particularly happy with this job but at least it closes. After paying $507, I would have rather not had him touch the front door at all.

  Ace Handyman Services has completed a number of repairs for me, and I am happy to say, they have done an excellent job with each one. Severo Valencia analyzes the problem and knows just what to do, along with Michael Strom---and they are not afraid to tackle unappealing repairs. If you want the job done correctly, don’t hesitate to contact Ace Handyman Services---and the office personnel are very friendly and helpful.

  This company is a rip off. I had a gentleman come out and install 2 blinds in my living room. He said that since it only took him a half hour he wouldn't charge me for a full hour of service. He also said that I had to pay a $75 fee just for him showing up. So the total I was quoted and signed for was $125. I told him that when Sterling came out the previous day he told me the installation of blinds in several rooms was part of a package for the renovations in my home. Sterling denied that and said I had to pay separate for the installation of the blinds. I told him that I didn't have that kind of money on hand. The installer spoke to the office and it was agreed that I would pay $60 now and pay the remaining $65 in 3 weeks when I got paid. Now the office is trying to say I signed a invoice for $330. Not only was I never sent an invoice, the only thing I signed was the installer was in my home, that the labor was only 1/2 hour and that I paid $60 in cash. The office is also refusing to send me a quote for the package of renovations until I pay them in full. I was never told this upfront. I used this company 2 years ago to install some vertical blinds. I was completely satisfied with the service and the professionalism and courtesy from the office staff. I don't know what's happened since them but I do not recommend using this company.
