I cannot say enough good things about Accent flooring and Michael Tedder. My husband and I have used him for our personal home and rental properties for 30plus years. He did exquisite Brazilian cherry floors in our personal home, red oak in rental properties. He is a pleasure to work with. Use this company for the best quality price and service. New install or refinish-this is who you want to use!!!!

This store is a cut above the rest, CdA ! We shopped around for "distressed wood" looking tile and were told everywhere that if we wanted that look we'd not be able to get bullnose trim tile. Shalean and Emma took EXCELLENT care of us by contacting the tile manufacturers and pressing their vendor sales representatives' to better understand their product offerings. With some perseverance and patience, Shalean was able to get us the exact tile we wanted, bull pieces included. Both she and Emma were super helpful communicating delivery and ensuring our tiles were ready when we picked them up from the store. Five stars is not enough !

We ordered Showplace cabinets through Accent to remodel all our bathrooms. We had previously worked with the salesperson on other projects so the lack of attention to detail and oversight of some of the technical details on this project came as a surprise to us. Unfortunately that lack of attention to detail resulted in huge delays for us and substantially increased costs, as well as the inconvenience of not having fully functional bathrooms for months. A project that were were told would be completed in about 8 weeks has been extended to 8 months!
What arrived were cabinets where drawers could only open a couple of inches before being stopped by the door jam, doors that hit nearby doors and walls, several vanities the wrong size, and all cabinets had the wrong door style. When these issues were raised we were told: “you approved the order”. We were more than a little stunned to learn our approval of the concept drawings apparently meant we knew the nuances of the product and verified all the technical details and measurements taken by their specialist. The solutions that were offered after the errors were discovered were unsatisfactory (not consistent with the original scope of work) or mathematically impossible (115 inches will never fit in a 113 inch space).
After 5 weeks of being asked to sign off on conflicting drawings, take full responsibility for all the measurements for the reorder, and insisting we pay a restocking fee on the cabinets that didn’t function in the intended space, we realized we could no longer work with Accent and requested a refund for the outstanding cabinets. Although they did not take back and refund all the product as we have a considerable amount of trim that was ordered, charged to us, and turns out was not even needed for the project. And some hardware that we were charged for was never delivered which resulted in us paying for it twice since we had to re-order it from another vendor. Also it is clear from the itemization of the amount that was refunded that they did not return the sales tax (almost $200) that corresponded to the returned product. That amount is still owed (3 months and counting).

When we first went to Accent Floors they were actually closed but the owner was there on the weekend for an appointment and he was more than happy to allow us to go through the store and was helpful. He had given out the sample we were interested in to another customer but found a smaller sample for us in his warehouse the next business day.. He then arranged a meeting with an installer for tile who was great. The installer worked around us so we could stay in our home and have as much access to our home during the installation and he was easy to work with. Our experience with accent Floors was positive and we would recommend them. We had a large job of over a thousand square feet of tile and are very pleased.
