  Nice shop to buy shoes. They have many different brands, nice big & spacious shop..this place does remind me of Dick's Sporting Goods.

  Went to the store in greenwood indiana on Sunday Sept 7th to get a life jacket for my boyfriend's niece so we could take her fishing in his boat. Got there at 9am when they open and was met at the door by an employee saying nobody could enter because the manager wasn't there yet. They were open but nobody could shop. We waited until almost 10am before a manager showed up and we're allowed in. Why is an employee permitted to open the store in the first place if customers aren't allowed in and isn't the managers supposed to be the first ones there? This was our first time shopping at Academy Sport and very doubtful we'll return.

  It has everything. Michael helped me find everything I needed. He was knowledgeable about the Sport and very helpful. I'll definitely be back.

  I am pretty sure the managers name was Natalie, she did beyond an amazing job with helping me pick out some things for my mother in laws birthday. I wasn't really sure on what to get, I definitely needed a second opinion on some clothing, and Natalie surely came through for me with great suggestions. All my mother in law brings up now is how much she likes the clothing and pair of shoes I had gotten her from Academy Sports and it is literally all thanks to NATALIE! Natalie, thank you again for your help. Your amazing customer service should NOT go unnoticed!
