  Thank you academy for helping me get the right size for my shoes. I had to exchange these shoes 3 times and I didn't have any trouble, So 5 stars for customer service.

  I really like this store. It has a great selection and fair prices. I really like their clearance selection on sneakers. They also have a really nice selection of women's active wear. Its just an all around nice store and its clean. The people working here are also helpful and friendly.

  Academy has really turned into crap. It’s a glorified Harbor Freight that still has some name brands. Customer service has never been worse.

  Just moved back from Houston just retired I love coming to academy avid fisherman going to be buying lots of fishing gear only setback is that corpus has only one academy

  Was at the gun section to buy a shotgun and a pistol. My wife and I were there around 8:20 pm. We were 3rd in line in being helped but became the 5th or 6th in line because the guy in the counter skipped us twice or thrice. By the time he helped us it was like 5-7 minutes before 9pm (apparently they can’t sell guns when it hits 9pm). In those few minutes he was taking his time and moving slowly looking for the guns we were interested in and soon later became a few minutes past 9pm. Then he says “Oh sorry we can’t sell because it’s past 9pm”. In my head I was like “Well if you did your job properly and fairly we would’ve been done by 8:30-8:40”. You can tell from his attitude that he didn’t care and just wanted to go home. Then when we went out to check out in the front on some things we bought, everybody was slow to help and showed lazy and uncaring attitude. Horrible customer service experience never coming back!
