- DNDevonte NicksOct 21, 20251.0I recently came into this Academy to shop. I took the things I was buying to the front and was being checked out by a young lady. I noticed she was being trained by someone named “Bravo”. He was an older guy (mid 40s ish). He proceeded to ask me “isn’t she cute?” (referring to the cashier he was training). She seemed visibly uncomfortable by his remarks. I was made uncomfortable as well because he asked me that. Overall I was made uncomfortable by his remarks, and if he’s doing this in front of customers I cant even imagine what goes on behind closed doors. I will not be coming back here again.

But unfortunately today was different, I observed a manager addressing an employee on the floor in a way that was demeaning and disrespectful. The tone and choice of words made the employee appear belittled in front of other employees and customers. Coming from someone who has work in management before, the manager (keirsten) from her name tag. Should work on her interpersonal Skills and on her emotional intelligence. She needs to have a bit of empathy for the employees. Academy please do better on training your managers.

I am not sure what was going on but 10 minutes passed then another 10 minutes passed. Total 20 minutes before getting out of my car. What's the point of a pickup order if you got to go in the store. Then another 10 minutes in the store to stand in line and explain that I placed an online order.
