    Muyyyyy mala atención fui a comprar un traje de buceo no pude ni preguntar porque no me dejaron Aser la pregunta le pregunto a una muchacha donde puedo encontrar el traje y dice q no puede porque está en el teléfono y la otra persona q fuera y le pregunté a otro q mala experiencia uno va contento y sale todo lo contrario

    My spouse and I were checked out by Rylee, and during the process my spouse asked to sign up for the rewards program since he frequently shops at Academy. Rylee asked for basic information such as email and name, requested an ID, then the card machine asked for income, and the last four of his social. I immediately questioned why this information was necessary for a rewards account and asked if this was for a credit application. Rylee gave no explanation and appeared distracted, playing with her hair. At the end of the process, the screen showed that my spouse had actually been signed up for a credit card application something he never agreed to. When he pointed this out, Rylee simply told him to put an “X” and proceeded to ask for payment for the Yeti cooler we were purchasing. There was no apology, and later my spouse even received an alert that his credit had been run. On top of that, he was never actually signed up for the rewards program he originally requested. This was an incredibly frustrating and misleading experience. Having someone’s credit run without consent is unacceptable, and we will be taking our business to another sports store moving forward!
