  I recently visited Academy and found a shirt I really liked that was the only one in my size and needed it in time for an upcoming trip, but it had a visible stain and a hole. When I asked about a discount due to the damage, they only offered 5 percent off, which to me is not enough for an item that clearly isn’t in perfect condition. I was disappointed that they weren’t willing to do more, especially given the circumstances, and it felt like they didn’t care about making things right for the customer. Because of this experience, I don’t think I’ll be shopping at Academy again.

  The store itself is fine. But there are NEVER enough cashiers working. There has never been a time when I haven’t had to stand in line for at least 10 minutes to check out, regardless of time of day.

  We love Academy but customer service is awful at this location. The girl at the counter was extremely rude and the manager followed suit. Our coupon had expired but they weren't ready to scan the coupon. They said the coupon would work if they scanned it although it had expired but they weren't willing to give us any discounts. If the coupons work after it had expired, I don't know how that could be our problem. What a shame! We ended up walking out and purchasing the same items from Academy online where the coupon worked.

  Being a sports mom i frequent Academy often. I had never been to this location but was close. Excellant customer service, very clean and organized store . Restroom was spotless which is a huge PLUS. 2 workers asked if I am finding what i needed. The cashier was very pleasant and energetic. I would definitely recommend and return
