  The employee in the gun area was very rude & had no idea what the law of handling a weapon is. I think they need to get more training & know the law & store policy.

  We went to therapy that is the next door away from Academy Sports. The people at therapy are so nice. Such a great atmosphere. A very nice place.

  Does entering the store deserve to be treated like a criminal? Followed around by employees and loss prevention people for over 30 minutes. Made us so uncomfortable we ended up walking out feeling disrespected and judged. I know Joplin has a problem with people stealing, but if this is how academy treats customers, they won't be open much longer. I'll never go back there.
