  Really just writing this review because the staff is GREAT!!! Would give it 5 stars for the staff, but the atmosphere is so sterile... If you want to actually look at a piece of equipment and get your hands on it (or something similar to what you're looking for), Academy is OK, otherwise, Amazon is better. Maneuvering the parking lot can be a pain at times. Alot of traffic on weekends.

  It's like everytime I walk in Academy the customer service keeps getting worse and worse. Come on management , step it up !

  This location has an employee who has been reported to management multiple times for being rude and homophonic to customers. The employee is named Daniel, he did not want to help me get into the changing room and was very rude and mean. The moment I told other team members they all knew who I was talking about. Steven was able to help me into the changing room and the cashiers were really nice about how that’s not acceptable. Daniel has been reported to management many times it’s seems like after talking to the manger on duty. I was on the phone with my partner when all the discrimination was happening by Daniel.

  I often try to avoid going to this store due to its staff’s complete lack of interest and competence. The cashiers especially are very slow and never cooperate. management is also very lazy. the prices are never right, they never honor the prices that THEY get wrong, and it takes them 100 years to answer the phone. if you don’t plan on losing your marbles, do NOT go to this store!!

  Don't ever work here only good yr I had here was in 2022 an 2023. Management shitty They over work you an they only care about credit cards. Then when u get sick it's like a spit in ur face. I caught. Stomach virus tax free weekend been sick ever since. Also they don't disinfect. Even asked for a different position for a bit to where I can move around until I'm better. Nah she like what’s the difference they said difference difference is moving around helps an upset stomach. This place is trash and hope Shields shuts them down.
