Picked up a Blackstone grill here with no wheels, I asked for wheels and they said to call Blackstone directly instead of offering to give me wheels!!!

I went to this store to buy camping stuff for my sons on Saturday 10/18/2025 .at exactly 14:14 I was checked out By Kennedy. At the check out counter opposite online order pick up.KENNEDY was playfully throwing a small ball to the other girl standing at the online order pick up counter. When i asked if they register was open ,she hesitated ,looked up with an attitude looking upset and irritated and yelled ‘we are both open’ The whole time she checking us out she was looking the other way even when i asked her about the return policy. She answered 60 days from date of purchased with a receipt in a very bothered tone. I felt disrespected and humiliated since I was accompanied by my sons. I said thank you professionally as we left she ignored us as if she heard nothing. She was evidently upset with us. That was unpleasant experience and I won’t go back to this store where customers don’t feel valued.

Terrible ! Don't buy firearms there! They sold my husband a USED gun then wouldn't exchange it! They didn't try to help AT ALL ! Rude associates.

Went to this store to purchase two pistols I was interested in. Asked to look at the first one. The pistol had a trigger lock on it. I asked if it could be removed to feel the trigger. I was told they were not permitted to do so. I handed the pistol back and left. If I can’t properly check out the firearm, I won’t spend my money on it. I’ll shop elsewhere. Academy lost well over $1k in sales due to their policy.

Hello Academy team, I wanted to share feedback about a recent visit. I purchased my first handgun and asked a cashier if someone could assist me with ammunition. At the gun counter I was spoken to politely, but the associate said he could not leave the counter or send anyone to help, and that no one else was available. Because I needed assistance, I completed my purchase at Range USA, where a staff member helped me choose practice ammunition and I was able to sign up for lessons. I value Academy and wanted to pass this along as constructive feedback: having a clear procedure for when customers need assistance at the firearms counter — or a way to call for help — would improve the shopping experience for first-time buyers like me. Thank you for listening. I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Denise
